RTVE has visited us during the Final Conference of the DTICEQT international project held at the University of Santiago de Compostela this Friday, February 3, to broadcast a report on Telexornal de Galicia.

Carmen Fernández Morante, professor and researcher of the TECNOEDUC Educational Technology Research Group of the USC explains the keys and results obtained during these two years of this innovative project in which schools from three different countries have participated, working on innovative methodologies that They allow students to acquire the skills that Europe considers key today, with emerging technologies that encourage creativity and critical thinking based on the premise "Educate in schools thinking about the needs of today's society." For this reason, during the course of this day, entrepreneurship, radio Podcast and Virtual Reality workshops were given that you can see in this report:

Within the framework of the final event of the project, several workshops were held for the students attending the final conference: an entrepreneurship workshop, a virtual reality workshop and a radio podcasting workshop.

To allow all the student to take part in all three workshops, they were organised in several shifts, so each group rotate from one workshop to the next until they completed all. So in the end, three editions of the entrepreneurship workshop were held, two of the virtual reality and another two editions of the radio podcasting one

On February 3rd, the Final Conference of the DTICEQT Project was held at the Faculty of Educational Science of the University of Santiago de Compostela (Spain).

After the official opening ceremony of the event, all the partners presented the results of the tasks carried out, with special attention to the piloting activities carried out by the schools, based on the knowledge, tools and outputs made available by the other partners; and also the CPD course for teachers, available via online.

Both the multimedia guide and the APP designed for teachers were also presented. In this last case, the coordinator of the project made a demonstration of the APP functionalities.

At the same time, several workshops were held for the students attending the final conference: an entrepreneurship workshop, a virtual reality workshop and a radio podcasting workshop. In all of them, the students enjoyed learning.

Finally, prior to the closing ceremony, the general evaluation of the project was presented by the responsible partner (Wescountry Schools Trust).

The final Conference puts an end to the activities of the DTICEQT project.

The partners of the DTICEQT Project held the last face-to-face meeting of the project on February 2nd and 3rd in Santiago de Compostela, in order to prepare the Final Conference, make a summary of all the tasks and activities carried out throughout the two years of the project, and review the remaining details of the pending tasks when there is only one month left to finish DTICEQT.

The evaluation of the project and its results were very positive by all the partners.
